South Barrington
What a fabulous day!! What a venue!!
Carin really did an unbelievable job putting the show together.
Everything was hot hot hot!!
It was a picture perfect day.
We sold some fabulous treasures, and right near the fountain in the same spot for next month.
We all got some sun, some of us too much.....it was sure worth it.
Ever have a show that you didn't want to end? this was the one for me.
Can't wait for next month. Sunday 21 st.
We'll also be in Grayslake on Saturday June 20 and Sunday June 21

Happy May !!
Finally the weather has turned the corner and I mean finally.
Patti and Chris has the most unbelievable trip to Paris and are already talking about and counting the days til they can go back.
They carried home some amazing treasures. Just today we had some show and tell at Patti's with her loot. The terra cotta tiles are my favorite. She has some pictures of the Paris flea market for me to upload to our blog. It looks beautiful, and exactly like one would imagine.
Sad not to have shopped Kane County this weekend, but the wonderful weather dictated some much needed yardwork. As sick as this sounds, I really like yard work.
Grayslake is going to be so much fun next weekend.
See everyone then

We're still alive
Wow!!! Time sure flies when your having fun. Someone one has been neglectful in updating our blog but I promise right here and now that will not happen again
On to our new:
Patti leaves for a week in Paris on Wednesday, with our dear friend Chris Hutson.
Most of you from the show, know Chris, as "Sophie's Mom".
They plan to hit all the antique and flea markets, shops and vendors they can, drinking champagne, and eating baguettes of bread with amazing French cheese. Doesn't that sound like a wonderful time?
Patti always manages to find some amazing treasures, we can't wait to see what she brings home.
She has promised me some pictures of the Paris flea market for our blog.
Stay tuned for that.
We are really looking forward to May, always a great month for all the shows. We start off with Grayslake Antique Market - May 9th and 10th, Elkhorn Antique Flea Market-May 17th, and The South Barrington Antiques and French Market-May 31st. There are links to the left for all times and directions.
Spring is finally here and we are pulling out all our garden faire.
All the shows promise to be full of fun and eclectic garden treasures, and we can hardly wait.
Au Revoir,
P, J & D

Pussy Willow to greet Spring!!
Sunday, March 1, 2009
WOW!!! Kane County was so much fun. The sun was shining and everyone was shopping. Patti and I shopped and visited with everyone. Patti bought some fabulous shutters and an amazing piece of fretwork or gingerbread. It was great to see Neil and Diane.
We made some new friends, Judy and Anita from Iowa, and we absolutely loved everything in their booth.
Going to meet Patti at the Huntley Antique Mall to get some pictures of the booth with all it's treasures.
Can't wait for next weekend at Grayslake. We have some unbelievable treasures.
Well my photos were mostly video, guess you have to be smarter than the camera to know how to use it. I do have a great picture of Sandy from rhubarb reign will post later.

Judy in the Sun Times
Our very own Judy was in the Sun Times with a letter to the editor;
February 24, 2009
About a year ago, I thought that it would be a very good idea for the green lights to start blinking several seconds before they change to yellow. This would give any motorist time to come to a complete stop rather than slam on their brakes when the light changes from green to yellow. The green light countdown would avoid panic stops at the camera lights.
Using countdown clocks similar to the ones at pedestrian crosswalks would warn drivers too late to stop.

Keeping up with the neighbors
Patty, Judy and I decided we had to keep up with the neighbors and start blogging.
If you saw us in Wheaton on Feb. 15th, you know Judy broke her foot. She is getting around a little bit better.
This coming month, March we will be at:
Grayslake March 7th & 8th - Lake County Fairgrounds
Wheaton March 15th - Dupage County Fairgrounds
See you then,
PD&J
Watch for some great pictures coming
